93-100 A
85-92 B

Grades: Grades will be derived from various sources. Teachers will collect grades from the following sources each quarter: tests, class assignments, homework, special projects, and class participation. All graded assignments are returned to students in a timely manner. Make a plan with your child so that you can follow their progress and work. Many times graded work is thrown away before it reaches home. Teachers send home a mid-term report and quarterly reports for your child so that you will know how they are doing during the specific grading period.
“D” OR “F” Test: If your child receives a D or F on a test, it may be sent home for a parent or guardian signature. These items are to be returned and collected within two days.
***If there is a concern over an assignment, please contact the teacher via email, call during scheduled conference times, or call the school to set up an appointment. Please refrain from impromptu conferences. Allow the teacher time to gather information and documentation to assist with the issue. ***
Homework Policy
*Each time your child has a missing/incomplete assignment, they will receive a ticket and have to complete the assignment at study hall or the following night for homework.*

Homework Policy
- Homework will be written in your child’s agenda. Parents/guardians are the key to making homework a positive experience for their children. If your child is absent, please make every effort to pick up homework for the day missed. With the exception of vacation, students will be allowed one day to make up any work. If you are planning a vacation, please ask for your homework at least a week in advance. Your child will be responsible for any and all work completed while they were gone. This work will need to be turned in the day that your child returns to school. If it is not returned, your child will receive a ticket.
